Accessibility statement

Zim Premier is being built toward WCAG 2.2 AA. The current production pass covers the shared shell and every public, legal, supporter, authentication and league-operations route.

Keyboard access

Primary navigation, menus, filters, forms, tables and match components can be reached and operated without a mouse.

Visible text and contrast

Dark and light surfaces use separate semantic colour tokens. Text does not rely on transparent gradient rendering, and status meaning is not conveyed by colour alone.

Responsive zoom

Layouts are designed from 360px and support browser zoom without hiding content behind fixed navigation or forcing page-level horizontal scrolling.

Screen readers

Routes announce page changes, controls have accessible names, decorative club marks are hidden from assistive technology, and forms expose errors through live alerts.

Reduced motion and data

System reduced-motion and reduced-data preferences remove non-essential movement, textures and heavy visual effects.

Known limitation

Formal user testing still matters

Automated and code-level checks cannot replace testing with real users of VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA, screen magnification and switch access. That testing remains part of the official launch gate.
