A fallback does not mean a page is broken. It means ZimPrem has chosen a known bundled record instead of hiding the issue or fabricating a successful live response.

The football facts ZimPrem refuses to invent
These are product rules, not marketing claims. They guide matchday UI, supporter personalisation and Ask ZimPrem whenever a source record is incomplete.
Unknown score stays unknown
A missing live or completed score is displayed as unavailable or pending. ZimPrem does not convert null score fields into 0-0.
Next means future
A scheduled row is only treated as the next fixture when its recorded kickoff is still in the future. Stale scheduled records are not promoted as upcoming matches.
Missing metrics stay missing
Player output is shown only when the published player register marks those metrics as available. Missing statistics are not silently converted into zeroes.
Ask answers show their evidence
Ask ZimPrem uses the same football registers as the public product. Referenced fixture and player records expose source state and verification context rather than appearing as unsupported AI claims.

Backend first
Fixtures, standings, players and transfers are read from the live database first. A published live record wins whenever the query resolves with usable data.
Fallback continuity
Safe degradation
Bundled records keep key football pages usable when the live layer is unavailable. The interface labels that state so users can judge freshness for themselves.

Evidence before confidence
ZimPrem separates confirmed, awaiting and reported information. The product should never imply stronger certainty than the underlying source record supports.

Football data changes quickly and public sources can conflict. ZimPrem keeps a correction route open so clubs, players, supporters and researchers can flag a record that needs another look.
